Last sync on
The date of the last synchronization is automatically entered here. This field is empty at the beginning.
Auto. Sync Enabled
This feature allows you to set up regular, automatic synchronization with SwissSalary Direct. This can be helpful if you have a large number of employee onboarding and offboarding events.
Checking the box opens a window for the task queue entries. In the “Series” section, you can now select the days on which you want the synchronization to take place. Enter a start and end time, as well as the number of minutes between each synchronization. For example, if you want hourly synchronization on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
KLE Sync Enabled
Synchronize Sickness and Accident Reports with KLE
Company Key
This key is generated automatically. Please do not change it unless you are copying a client. Be sure to follow the instructions in the corresponding entry. See Clients
Company Name Filter
Here, you can enter the client names for which the documents are to be uploaded. If there are multiple clients, you can enter the client names using the standard filter options, e.g., Client1|Client2|Client3
Note: This can be helpful, for example, when a test client is created from each production client. The client filter prevents documents from the test client from being uploaded.
Database Name
When SwissSalary Direct is set up, the database name is stored in the configuration. If a copy is then made and a synchronization is triggered from that copy, the name from the Direct configuration is compared with the current database. If the two values do not match, an error message is displayed.

All Employees:
Documents are also uploaded for employees who have not yet registered for SwissSalary Direct. One advantage is that as soon as an employee registers for SwissSalary Direct, they can view their Paycheck as well as any other uploaded documents from the previous month.
An employee is considered registered once they have successfully logged in to SwissSalary Direct using their personal registration code and confirmed their email address.
Registered Employees Only:
Only documents for registered employees are uploaded. From a data protection perspective, this setting is recommended. This ensures that no documents are stored in the cloud unless the employee expressly consents to it upon registration.
Text block for registration code
This is where you define the text that employees will see on their pay stubs until they register for SwissSalary Direct.
Note regarding placeholders for automatically generated text blocks:
%Direct_RegistrationCode% = Placeholder for the registration code
%Direct_RegistrationURL% = Placeholder for the web address, including the subdomain for the login page
If necessary, you can enter text in a different language by selecting the language.
Once the employee has registered for SwissSalary Direct, the text will no longer appear on the Paycheck.
No email notification
If you check these boxes, employees will not receive an email notification when a document is uploaded. This can be useful for testing purposes or when uploading older documents multiple times.
Test Mode
If this checkbox is selected, you can test the document upload process. The entire process will run, but no documents will be saved in SwissSalary Direct, and no emails will be sent to employees.

Synchronize
This feature synchronizes all employees with the SwissSalary Direct server. If the synchronization is successful, the following message appears:
“SwissSalary Direct synchronization completed successfully.”
Note: Synchronization always takes place automatically before pay stubs are made available on SwissSalary Direct. This ensures that all employees are present on the SwissSalary Direct server.
If synchronization fails, please check the system requirements first.

Send document
This feature allows you to make documents of your choice available to employees on SwissSalary Direct, such as regulations or invitations. These documents must be saved in PDF format. Use this feature when you need to send the same document to all or several employees. If you need to send documents specific to individual employees, please use the Dossier Import feature.
1.Use the AssistButton to select the document in Windows Explorer or Finder.
2.You can assign any file name you like to the document. This is the name the employee will see in SwissSalary Direct. If no description is added, the file name will appear in SwissSalary Direct.
3.Here, you can specify when the document will be made available to the employee on SwissSalary Direct, as well as whether to send an email notification that a new document is ready.
4.Here, you decide whether the document should be distributed only to active employees.
Note: An employee can continue to access SwissSalary Direct for a period of time you specify even after leaving the company.
5.Here, you can apply filters to the employee master data as usual if the document is to be made available only to specific employees.
Registration Code
SwissSalary automatically generates the registration codes. These can be displayed in a list and exported to Excel. The registration codes remain the same for each employee.
Open SwissSalary Direct
You can open the SwissSalary Direct login page (web) here.
Send Dossier documents
If you have stored documents in the employee's file that you want the employee to see in SwissSalary Direct, you can initiate the delivery here. To do so, the “Direct” and “Visible from” columns in the file must be filled out accordingly.
