We have renamed the term “LSE” to “Statistics” on the “Report wages” page and in the list of ELM wage reports that have been carried out.

•Periodicity/deadline transmission

Is there a deadline for sending data to the BFS via ELM 5.0?

Yes, the data for the survey month must be transmitted by the middle of the following month at the latest (e.g. ~15 April for March data).

•Implementation date

If I send my data to the BFS via ELM 5.0, do I still have to participate in the affected surveys via the existing channels (e.g. questionnaire, e-survey, etc.)?

No, for regular mailings it is no longer necessary to answer the corresponding surveys (e.g. LSE, BESTA) separately. ELM 5.0 covers the information needs for these surveys.

A single channel for multiple surveys

Companies and administrations no longer need to differentiate between the various surveys concerned in their system. They store their data once in their ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and thus deliver the required information directly to several recipients at the BFS. 

With ELM, all the data collected can be grouped and transmitted on a monthly basis.
