With the Swissdec 5.0 certification, adjustments are made to the data submitted via ‘Salary declaration’.

For cantons with an annual accounting method, the calculations for employees with rate changes during the year must also be continued for the rates that are no longer current. Rate determination is calculated with smoothed value for the whole year. This has already been done correctly for employees. The view in the file generated via ‘Salary declaration’ is now better presented and can thus be processed by the tax authorities. Swissdec published the requirements as part of the certification and they were adopted and implemented.
