Step 3: Enable web services in the connected system (NAV/BC on-Prem, BC SaaS) (NAV/BC on-Prem, BC SaaS)

Business Central/Navision on-prem, Business Central SaaS: Cloud Connector can only synchronize data that is available in the connected system via web services. This means that there must be a corresponding page on the web service page for each table you want to synchronize. The table below shows the web services that must be published.

To synchronize financial accounting-relevant tables or data between the connected system and SwissSalary, you must publish these web services in the connected system.

The standard pages of Navision/Business Central on-prem and Business Central SaaS for the web services pages Gen. Journal Line Api and Gen. Journal Post Api cannot be used with the Cloud Connector. For this reason

up to the Microsoft Navision 2018 version, our custom objects must be imported;

from the Business Central 2019 version, our per-tenant extension application must be imported,

and these objects must be published as web services. This allows these entities to be synchronized.

For custom objects and the per-tenant extension application, please contact us at integrations@swisssalary.ch.
