Unit Management Rapport

This option field contains 3 selection fields: (you can select an option in this field using the AssistButton)

blank (empty)

Hours

Days

The ‘Reporting unit’ option is used immediately after assignment in the ‘Time type’ field. The Reporting unit remains ‘blank’ for all cash wage types for which no time type is recorded.

Absence hours can be converted from the number of hours to the number of days. This is done either automatically using the add-on module Working time calendar or Workgroup or manually when the number of hours is recorded. This means that both values (hours/days) are available for the same wage type in wage items. For this conversion, please set the Hours option. For analyses, wage type can be evaluated in terms of the number of hours or number of days.

Important: If the ‘Hours’ reporting unit is used, one of the three parameters is required:

1) Target hours of the Working time calendar

2) If the working time calendar is empty, the data record from the ‘Unit fixed value’ field of the corresponding work group is taken into account.

3) If the data records of the above items are empty, the value stored in the ‘Unit fixed value’ field is retrieved from the wage type.

Items 2 and 3 mainly occur when SwissSalary EasyRapport is not in use.

If absences are only to be recorded in days, the ‘Days’ value is entered in this field. The Amount of time (hours) column in the Wage items table is not filled. This option is often used for holiday entitlement and holiday correction, as these data sets should only be available in days. Holiday and holiday payment data is usually collected in hours, with the ‘Hours’ option also converting the number of hours into the number of days.

Unit fixed Value

When the ‘Days’ option is used (in the ‘Reporting unit’ field), hourly factor for calculating the number of hours can be entered using the ‘Unit fixed value’ decimal field.

Example:

Holiday entitlement is calculated in days. Since holidays are recorded in hours, holiday entitlement should additionally be reported also in hours (for analysis purposes). By recording an average factor (e.g., 8.1 hours), holiday balance is also carried forward in the number of hours.

In reality, this field is rarely used.

Time calculation sign change

There are a few wage types that are positive for the payout on the one hand and negative for time calculation on the other hand. If this is the case, the ‘Slider’ is activated.

Example:

Holiday hours payout

The payout is positive for employees, but holiday balance is automatically minimized by the number of paid holidays.

Usage:

Holiday leave

Holiday pay

Overtime pay

Bei der Übergabe von Arbeitsstunden in die Projekte, kann pro Lohnart der entsprechende Arbeitstyp mitgegeben werden. Der gebuchte Arbeitstyp ist dann in den Projektposten ersichtlich.
