Child allowances

Child allowances will be increased as of January 2025. The new rates must be entered in the Payroll Setup, child allowances domain.

 

If adjustments are made in the Payroll Setup, child allowances domain, these are only taken into account when new children are entered. The allowances must also be updated for children who have already been entered. The “Adjust children allowances” report can be started via Organization, Actions tab. Only activate the checkboxes for “Posting” and “only active employee”. This will overwrite the new records stored in the Payroll Setup for all active employees for all children.

If you have made a manual adjustment to the rates for individual employees (e.g. due to a differential allowance because of intercantonal equalization), these changes must now be re-entered manually. The report, which displays the changes, will help you with this. Save this directly when you run it; it is not possible to process it again.
