ZIP Code

In the ZIP Code/City selection field you can select the employee’s residence. When you do this, the name of the settlement will be added automatically. The ZIP code is stored in a separate table and can be periodically downloaded.

The unique municipal number (Federal Statistical Office) must be specified for income tax accounting. The municipal number is automatically imported during the update of the ZIP code source. In practice, you will not see the number, because you do not have to manually edit it. The municipal number is currently only used for IT reports, and possibly also for further evaluations and interfaces in the future.
