In diverse sezioni di SwissSalary si possono utilizzare i cosiddetti 'caratteri jolly' per esempio se si vuole trasmettere il 'Testo di registrazione'-COFI non solo con 'Registrazione riepilogo di salario', bensì come integrazione oltre alla data della registrazione. Finora in questo caso si aveva un numero 'anonimo', per es. '%2'. Questo carattere jolly è diventato ‘sonoro’.
