Introduction

First apply the changes to the new percentages of the employee deductions and employer provisions as well as adjustments to the minimal/maximum salaries after the posting of the last pay process of December 2025, however, IMPERATIVELY before the first pay process of the year 2026!

Cloud SwissSalary 365: Please note that all contributions and maximum limits must be adjusted manually. You must also enter the withholding tax rates yourself.

IMPORTANT: Always check that separate base, wage, and free salary types are used for each individual insurance policy. If salary types are used multiple times, it will not be possible to generate correct reports at the end of the year. Depending on the setup, this may also lead to incorrect calculations of limits.

Changes to compensation funds and insurance companies must be recorded on the date the contract begins and the corresponding contract must be selected. When payroll is processed, the domain and contract code are stored in the payroll items as the “origin domain” and “origin domain code.” This is necessary so that the notification can be sent to the correct office. If the new insurer is not available for selection when reporting wages, it was only recorded after the last payroll processing was carried out. As soon as wage items with the assigned insurance have been processed, this insurer will be included in the selection.

If a change of insurance is only made retrospectively, it is possible that the payroll total will not be transmitted to the relevant insurers. If the relevant information on the posted payroll items needs to be adjusted, please contact our support team or your Dynamics 365 partner.

Changes must be updated by the company in the payroll setup under Benefits Setup or in the respective domain setup.

The withholding tax rates are available for download for the whole of Switzerland as soon as we receive them. Installation is carried out via the organization. The easiest way is to select ‘Install All Store Updates’ at the beginning of the year. If individual cantons change their rates during the year, individual cantons can be updated.
