In the “Hourly wage percents by position calculation (pro rata)” field of the payroll setup, you can select the manner percents by position are to be calculated for hourly wage earners when they get hired and resign during the month. If an option is selected in this field, percents by position for hourly wage earners are calculated using the actual time worked in relation to monthly items.

If, for example, monthly items amount to 176.00 and 200.00 hours were worked, up until now, 100.00 and more was saved in the employee’s percents by position field and therefore in the payroll list as well. Calculated percents by position are now limited to a maximum of 100.00.
