The BUR number changes with Swissdec version 5.0 and can now also contain alphanumeric values. In addition, the length has been extended from 8 to 9 characters.

It is now possible with this adjustment to store this new number in SwissSalary in the Workplace table.

To do this, you must first switch from ELM version 4.0 to 5.0 in Swissdec settings.

The last digit of the new BUR number has also been implemented as a check digit.
