Income Tax 2021 | Introduction

In update 5056.000 the fields and with hotfix 5056.002 the calculation for the new Income tax legislation from 01.01.2021 were delivered. With SwissSalary 5056.002 the calculation is done on the new basis, the reporting via ELM will continue to be done on the previous basis of Swissdec 4.0 until the certification of Swissdec 5.0. This is identical for all payroll vendors. Information about the certification will be provided in due course via our known channels.

Since the calculations are based on examples from Swissdec, the Income tax offices and from feedback from fiduciaries and Swissdec partners, adjustments and enhancements were and are still necessary. These were published with update 5057.000 and also in hotfix 5057.001 and 5057.002. Numerous tasks were also implemented again for version 5058.000, which are described below.
