ALVZ Employee %

This field is used to determine the employee's contribution to the second level of ALV.

The wage total subject to the ALV2 is influenced by the two maximum values

of ALV maximum/year and ALVZ maximum/year.

The solidarity surcharge (AVLZ) of 1% (ArN 0.5%/ArG 0.5%) will no longer be effective starting from Janu-ary 1, 2023. For calculation in SwissSalary in 2023 to be correct, the percentages must be set to 0.00 in the payroll master data before the first pay process for the year 2023 (“ALV” tab, “Employer ALVZ %” and “Em-ployee ALVZ %” fields). The 0.5% will continue to be charged for back payments after resignation in 2022.
