Continued Provision of Salary

If an employee dies, a third party may be entitled to receive a posthumous salary payment.

This salary type has been included in the initialization for some time. If you cannot find it in the salary type master, you can set it up accordingly.

The employment relationship ends on the date of death, which is why this is recorded as the departure date.

Enter new bank details in the name of the beneficiary and display all fields in the Beneficiary tab. Activate Salary in Arrears.

Limit the previous bank details in terms of time so that these new bank details are taken into account for the continued payment of salary.

Process the continued payment of salary via reporting using the corresponding wage type and the beneficiary's bank details.

Now create the salary statement. For the deceased person, the text specified by Swissdec is displayed under item 15: Salary benefits to name, first name, address, postal code, and city.

The value is displayed under item 4, Capital benefits. This allocation is made based on the setup in the wage type itself.
