With the activation of the Swissdec 5.0 standard, a unique document ID is generated for each salary certificate when it is reported. This ID is also visible on the salary certificate. If a salary certificate needs to be replaced for an individual person at a later date, this should be done by creating a correction. Make the necessary changes/additions and then go to the Tax Declaration tab in the Employee card. Click on “Show more fields” to see a value for the number of rectification documents. Click on the number. This will take you to the salary certificate display. Select the entry to be replaced and initiate the process “Submit salary certificate rectification” or “Print salary certificate rectification,” depending on whether you want to submit it to the tax office or generate a PDF. The system will now automatically print a new wage statement to replace the incorrect document.
If all salary certificate need to be resubmitted, you can do this via the replacement notification and do not need to perform this step for each individual person. The creation of a correction is only intended if individual documents need to be recreated. |
