Step 6: Setting up clients

1.In order to synchronize employee data from Personio, it must be assigned to a company. You can find out more about companies in Personio here.

2.On the “Cloud Connector Management” page, select ‘Setup’ and then “Set Up Company.” Here you can select which clients in SwissSalary and companies in Personio should be activated for synchronization and, in particular, how the companies should be assigned between the two systems. This can be important if the names of the clients and companies in SwissSalary/Business Central and in Personio are different.

3.An entity map opens where you can set up the assignment of the clients to be synchronized. The following fields can be edited here:

Enabled: Specifies whether this company should be enabled for Cloud Connector.

Name of the connected company: Enter the company name from Personio here. Use the “AssistEdit” function (see point 3) to search for and select a company from Personio.

4.AssistEdit function: If you click on the three dots in a row in the “Name of affiliated company” column, you can view and select the available companies.
