Procurement of banking subscriptions for multiple Microsoft tenants

If there are multiple Microsoft tenants, it is essential to clearly define in which tenant the banking subscriptions are to be purchased. Microsoft subscriptions are always tenant-specific and can only be assigned and used within the tenant in which they were purchased.

Banking subscriptions are procured by the IT department, as it has the necessary permissions and full access to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

After purchase, banking subscriptions must be assigned to the respective users in the correct tenant.

Particular attention is required in the case of trust or service models, where not all customer environments are managed in the company's own tenant.
