Procurement of banking subscriptions for multiple Microsoft tenants |
|
If there are multiple Microsoft tenants, it is essential to clearly define in which tenant the banking subscriptions are to be purchased. Microsoft subscriptions are always tenant-specific and can only be assigned and used within the tenant in which they were purchased.
Banking subscriptions are procured by the IT department, as it has the necessary permissions and full access to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
After purchase, banking subscriptions must be assigned to the respective users in the correct tenant.
Particular attention is required in the case of trust or service models, where not all customer environments are managed in the company's own tenant. When purchasing banking subscriptions, it must be ensured that the correct Windows or Microsoft login is used. This is the only way to ensure that the subscriptions are assigned to the correct tenant and then to the correct user accounts.
It should also be noted that when accessing the AppSource Marketplace from a Business Central customer environment, the customer login is not automatically used. Often, the login for your own company is still active. Therefore, before purchasing, always check which Microsoft account is currently logged in to avoid misassigning subscriptions. |
